The real Troy?

In western Turkey, near the coast, is a site that is strongly believed to be Troy.  This archaeological site is layers upon layers of cities built on top of each other.  In total there are ten different cities that were built over a period of 3,000 years.  The site is fairly well marked to allow differentiation between the different cities.  Although the site does not have the well preserved structures of others, it is unique in its history.
